The Haven Addiction Center is a referral and placement resource for inpatient addiction treatment. This page describes how caller information is handled.

What Callers Share on a Placement Call

Callers who speak with a placement advisor typically share: name, phone number, insurance carrier and member ID (for benefit verification), a brief clinical history (primary substance, frequency, prior treatment), and relevant logistics (zip code, employer, family situation). Sharing information is optional — callers who prefer to ask questions without identifying themselves may do so.

How That Information Is Used

Caller information is used solely to (1) verify insurance benefits, (2) match callers with licensed inpatient programs, and (3) coordinate admission with the licensed program the caller selects. Placement advisors follow confidentiality practices aligned with 42 CFR Part 2 (the federal rule governing substance use disorder records) for clinical information.

Who Information Is Shared With

Information is shared only with the licensed inpatient program the caller chooses, and only after the caller consents. No information is sold to third parties.
